Anyone who has ever visited the Treppenviertel (stairs quarter) in Blankenese knows it: the famous and infamous Waseberg!
Especially the last 300 meters with its 16% incline are a special challenge.
Reason enough for us to develop an espresso blend that carries exactly the attributes of the Waseberg in its body: strong, demanding and uplifting.
Our “Waseberg” is a classic bar espresso blend with a full-bodied body and low acid taste.
This blend consists of exactly 84% Brazilian Arabica and 16% washed Indian Robusta. And exactly this 16% will give you the decisive kick in this blend.
It is particularly suitable as a base in cappuccino, for example, but also as a basic ingredient in all espresso milkshakes. In combination with milk (especially with a fat content of 3.5%), this espresso works superbly and turns your drink into a creamy chocolate drink!
