This PREMIUM PICK comes from Indonesia and for us it is the first coffee we ever get from this country and therefore an exciting premiere! Alko is a cooperative with around 400 members, which is located in southwestern Sumatra and comprises a total of around 320 hectares of land. These farmers build coffee between 1300 and 1650 meters above sea level. on, often mixed varieties, but especially Sigararutang and Andung Sari. The coffee cherries are “floated”, then sorted and then dried in a layer in greenhouses for the first 5 days. It takes about 25 days to dry the cherry. We are happy that we were able to secure one of just under a dozen sacks of this nano lot from our green coffee dealer Nordicapproach before it was sold out. This natural convinced us with its sweet, and interesting strawberry and cherry notes and its balance.
