About this coffee

We source our coffee from our partner Nordic Approach, who have an exclusive arrangement with farmers in Colombia to produce high-quality natural coffees with outstanding fruity notes and clear aromas. This concept is known as Bombe de Fruta and is very thrilling. We roast this coffee medium to bring out the sweet berry elements that harmoniously blend with its chocolaty body.

The Farmers

This single-origin espresso is sourced from farms and producers who are members of Coocentral (Cooperativa Central Huila). Coocentral collaborates with NA on a smallholder project aimed at enhancing the quality of the coffee and improving the livelihoods of the producers. They provide technical support, mentoring, and training to the producers. Currently, around 70 farmers are participating in the project, but there is potential to increase this number. Coocentral is the primary cooperative in the central region of Huila. Cooperative members typically cultivate 2 to 3 hectares of land at altitudes ranging from 1,400 to 2,000 meters above sea level. The main coffee varieties grown are Caturra, Castillo, and Variedad Colombia. Presently, the cooperative has 3,747 members, with 2,098 actively delivering their harvest to the cooperative's receiving points in the respective villages (Veredas).
